Welcome to TennisNYC SUMMER/FALL/WINTER 2008 Tennis league!!!!
DUE TO POPULAR DEMAND,
WE ARE EXTENDING OUR EVALUATIONS FOR SUMMER/FALL 2008 MEMBERSHIPS!
TennisNYC members are not super competitive. They play for exercise, fun, to improve their game, to de-stress from work/life and to meet nice
friends/partners!
NOTE!!! You will be paired with other TennisNYC members who have similar skill level.
We accept advanced beginners to advanced players.
You must be 18 years and older to join the league.
We do 7 days/nights match arrangements in NYC (day/weekends) and NJ (day/night/weekends), OUTDOORS and INDOORS,
FREE GROUP tennis drills/lessons, tennis parties/barbecues, indoor round robin doubles,
FREE tennis vacations/trips to Florida Tennis Center in Daytona Beach, Tennis socials, tournaments etc etc. Our league members play a lot of tennis!
We will arrange each and every one of your matches
in NYC and NJ every
week and your tennis vacations/camp in Florida!!! We have scheduled monthly
tennis vacation/camp trips to Florida at the Florida Tennis Center! Your
vacation stay will be FREE!
PLEASE NOTE - NYC public courts are closed at night. Court hours in NYC are 7am
to 8pm! To play in NYC, please buy NYC tennis permit at Paragon Sporting
Good Store ($100 value). NYC permit is good from April to November 2008.
NJ outdoor courts are open at night, lighted until 10pm, FREE and public, no time limit on the court.
Transportation will be provided and/or arranged during your evaluations and group activities/round robins
and picnics. We also scheduled monthly tennis vacations/camp to Florida at
the Florida Tennis Center!!!
You can play tennis anywhere in NYC and NJ during park hours as often as your schedule will allow you, 7 days/nights per week including weekends and you can also join
in our group tennis activities several times per month.
When playing outdoors, you must follow the rules and regulations of public parks in NYC and NJ.
To play in NYC tennis courts, you must buy a NYC Tennis permit ($100) from
Paragon Sporting Good store on 18st and Broadway. NJ public tennis courts are
FREE.

SPECIAL LEAGUE PACKAGE FOR
YEAR 2008 - If you are a TennisNYC league member for 12 consecutive months, you
will get a FREE VACATION STAY in Daytona Beach and will play lots of clay court
tennis at the Florida Tennis Center with other league members.

I encourage potential league members to join other leagues or other tennis groups in NYC/NJ before joining TennisNYC. What makes a league special are the people running it and the members that make up the group and all our exciting tennis programs including FREE GROUP DRILLS/lessons and FREE FLORIDA tennis vacations combined. TennisNYC members are all nice, friendly, professionals and well-educated. Koko Lani (TennisNYC founder and League Director) has played tennis and has been a part of Tennis community in NYC for more than 25 years!!! Koko Lani has a Masters degree in Psychology. Eric, our league coach, has a Masters degree in Physical Education and has taught tennis for more than 30 years. He is currently the Physical Director of a NYC Public High School.
